About me
Hi, I’m Caitlin.
Seller first. Creator second.
I built my businesses while on parental leave, with two young kids at home and not a lot of sleep. I’m constantly testing, building and learning, and I share the real process: the wins, the fails and everything in between.

01 · From corporate marketing to Etsy
I started this on parental leave, just to see what was possible.
I’d spent my career working in marketing, but while I was on parental leave I decided to use the time to experiment with something of my own.
I started creating digital products and selling them on Etsy, combining the marketing skills I already had with a completely new challenge: figuring out what people actually wanted to buy.
What started as a side project quickly became something I genuinely loved. I loved the creativity, the strategy and the fact that I could have an idea, turn it into a product and put it in front of real customers.

02 · When the experiment became a business
Then the sales started adding up.
Etsy went from a little experiment to a genuine business, with 6,500+ sales and $65K+ in revenue in under 12 months.
Along the way I learned far more than just how to make digital products. I learned about product research, SEO, pricing, listings, conversion, marketing and, probably most importantly, how much you can learn by actually testing things instead of waiting until you have everything figured out.
Then AI entered the picture. I started experimenting with AI art, which opened up a whole new world of creativity and led me into print-on-demand and other ways of turning digital ideas into products.
03 · Why Caitlin Goes Digital exists
I want to build a business that gives me more freedom, and help other people do the same.
Caitlin Goes Digital is the next evolution of that journey. I don’t want to be tied to one Etsy shop, one product or even one platform. I want to keep experimenting with AI, Etsy, digital products, POD and the different ways we can use technology to build something of our own.
Ultimately, I’m doing this because I want more freedom, flexibility and control over my time, and I know I’m not the only person who wants that.
So I’m sharing what I’m actually doing along the way: the things that work, the things that don’t, the experiments, the lessons and the strategies that I think are genuinely worth knowing.
I’m not here because I have everything figured out. I’m here because I’m actually building it. ♡
